Newly reupholstered vintage easy chair, designed by Ole Wanscher for France and Daverkosen (later renamed France and Son) in 1951. Lounge chair model 116, aka Senator. Reupholstered in an off-white and beige textured dobby fabric. Very comfortable, elegant and ready to be enjoyed.

Between 1964 and 1967, Danish designer-manufacturer Poul Cadovius purchased France & Søn and renamed it CADO. Continuing to produce their designs, he collaborated with their impressive roster of iconic designers, including Ole Wanscher, until he closed shop in the mid to late 1970s.
